to teach if you are willing to learn. Join us for the rest of 2006 and on.

Wow another year of racing ahead, can't wait. I could use a little help with crews for my boats this year as I have been out of the county so much I have not had time to arrange the crews for my two, totally "Italian Tom 28's" ( phrf 75) berthed at Harbor isle I-2 . If you know of any serious crew members that are in need of a very cool water sled to have fun on and win, let me know because I would love to get involved and do more PHRF stuff in the future.

Due to impending relocations we are looking to rebuild our crew for the remainder of the 2004 season and beyond. We race most of the Hi Point races with emphasis on long distance (offshore hi point winner last 2 years) and fun bay and other races, including of course the beercans.

The boat is Blackadder, a J/27. Top of the line sails (3DL and Quantum), bottom and boat prep. We were first place in class 2004 Cabrillo offshore series and look forward to more success and fun during the year

We are looking for crew to help with an established crew of at least two years. We are racing every race in 2004 and not all regular crew can race all races. As of February 2004, we are tied for first place in both the Winter Series and the Cabrillo Series. We just took 1st place in Midwinters. We have new sails and a new bottom. We are competitive, but professional, and treat everyone on the boat, and on the course, with respect. We are willing to train, so please join us.

The Schooner Dauntless is broadening it's crew base. I'm interested in crew that sailing is at the top of their recreation activity. We sail at least a couple of weekends a month locally and participate in races in Long Beach, Newport, Channel Islands and this year the Master Mariners race in San Francisco. Crew members participate perhaps a half day a month in maintenance if I need a hand. An interest in traditional boats is a plus.  Experience in the basics is necessary. Rock stars need not apply. pplotts1@san.rr.com
